Dementia Research Studies

Medical science has made significant advances in being able to identify a great many of the pathological changes that occur within the brains of Alzheimer’s patients.  However, the exact etiology remains unclear, though many hypotheses have been offered. What Dementia Research Studies have been able to accomplish is to develop and get FDA approval of a number of medications to reduce, at least for a limited period of time, the degree of memory impairment that occurs during the course of this disease.  Additional work clearly needs to be conducted.

To this end, SPRI Clinical Trials of Brooklyn has been and continues to work in concert with the pharmaceutical industry in the conduct of their Dementia Research Studies aimed at attempting to identify and ultimately get approved new and better medications to treat this devastating disease.
